Ari Zehnder

Ari Zehnder studied screenwriting and directing at the Zurich University of the Arts before travelling to Peru for two years to document development projects as a filmmaker. Since then, he has worked as a conceptualizer, writer and director of commercials, content, mini-docs and short films and has developed his own aesthetic handwriting. At the centre of Ari's storytelling are real people and their emotional stories. His films are characterised by a simple visual language, in which irony and playful lightness flash up again and again. A creative mind that never stands still.
