Jakob Ström

Jakob Ström is a seasoned director with decades of experience in short films, commercials, and music videos. Known for his ability to capture deep emotion and humanity, Ström has collaborated with prominent organizations like CARE, Suntrust Foundation, and LIDL. His 2015 short film Dear Daddy for CARE Norway, which tackled domestic abuse and sexual assault, became a global sensation, amassing over 400 million views. The film won several prestigious awards, including Cannes Lions, a Grand Prix at the New York Festival, D&AD White Pencil, and numerous Gold and Silver accolades at the CRESTA, London International, and Eurobest Awards. Ström also directed the popular comedy series Torpederna in 2014, which earned critical acclaim and won the Kristallen Award for “Best Comedy Series” in 2016.
