Mark Albiston

Mark is an award-winning director known for his imaginative and deeply sensitive approach to storytelling. He has received jury prizes at Cannes, Sundance, and Berlin for his films and has been recognized at prestigious commercial awards like Cannes Lions, D&AD, Creative Circle, Spikes Asia, Caanz AXIS, Adfest, and The One Show.

Mark's first feature film, Shopping, followed the success of his acclaimed short films Run and The Six Dollar Fifty Man, both of which won the jury prize at Cannes. The Six Dollar Fifty Man also won Best International Short at Sundance and numerous other international festivals. Shopping premiered at Sundance and won the Grand Prix for Best Feature in Generation 14plus International at the Berlinale.
